Hoffman Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing builder specializing in technically complex, sustainable projects. The company is hiring a BIM Coordinator to work within the BIM department and report to the BIM department manager. The role will require an on-site presence each day and involve providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members to optimize Navisworks features and follow project modeling and coordination standards.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk's Navisworks Manage
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365
- Proficient in project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder), and Bluebeam
- Experience with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methods and digital fabrication
- Experience administering and organizing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360 and other file sharing platforms
- Ability to successfully host, run and document BIM coordination meetings
- Training in design document reading, design specifications, survey theory, and techniques
- Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills
- Ability to communicate and present design and/or construction ideas to a variety of audiences
