We are seeking a Practice Assistant to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality administrative support to lawyers and professionals in a team environment.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and co-workers via email, telephone, and in person
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and professionals in a team environment
- Perform routine filing and document management tasks
- Schedule domestic and foreign travel
- Prepare and process reimbursements, invoices, and check requests
- Learn client-specific billing guidelines and apply them to client invoices
- Open, prioritize, and distribute mail
- Enter and manage work requests from lawyers in the Firm’s workflow tool
- Perform file maintenance and document management
- Assist lawyers with time entry, billing, and collection
- Operate independently to ensure completion of assignments
- Perform clerical duties for non-legal departments
- Participate in special projects and duties as assigned
