We are seeking a skilled Chef De Partie to lead a specific section of our kitchen, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization.
Requirements
- Manage a designated section (Hot or Cold) in the kitchen and ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Supervise and train Commis Chefs and other junior staff within your section.
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in your section, following food safety regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections and the Sous Chef for smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor inventory levels in your section and inform the Sous Chef of ordering needs.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment in your section is properly maintained and report any malfunctions.
- Contribute to menu development and dish innovation within your area of responsibility.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment, even during high-pressure service periods.
- Uphold the brand standards of Home Bakery and act as a role model for junior staff.
