Nurse Practitioner, Child & Adolescent Health Center

Honor Community Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join their team at the Child & Adolescent Health Center in Pontiac, MI. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care to vulnerable populations in Oakland County.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification in the Family or Pediatric specialty area
• Current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the State of Michigan
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Board certification at hire and maintenance of board certification, licensure, and membership in professional organizations
• 1+ years of progressive experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Experience with CPT and ICD coding
• Knowledge of and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Compassionate and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to create an excellent patient experience
• Patient focused mindset
• Willingness to work at multiple locations when needed
