Honor Community Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join their team at the Child & Adolescent Health Center in Pontiac, MI. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care to vulnerable populations in Oakland County.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification in the Family or Pediatric specialty area
- Current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the State of Michigan
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Board certification at hire and maintenance of board certification, licensure, and membership in professional organizations
- 1+ years of progressive experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience with CPT and ICD coding
- Knowledge of and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Compassionate and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create an excellent patient experience
- Patient focused mindset
- Willingness to work at multiple locations when needed
