We are seeking a motivated and high-performing Wood Coatings Outside Sales Representative to join our Indianapolis, IN team. This role is ideal for a competitive, customer-focused professional who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and driving sales growth.
Requirements
- Develop and manage a local territory with a primary focus on coatings, finishes, and stains.
- Service existing accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business with cabinet shops, furniture makers, millwork houses, store fixture companies, and architectural firms.
- Plan and execute customer visits, product presentations, and in-shop demonstrations.
- Provide training and technical support on coatings application, product usage, and spray equipment setup/maintenance.
- Partner with vendor representatives and internal sales team members to deliver solutions and drive product penetration.
- Monitor competitive activity, including pricing, new products, and market trends.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit regular call logs, sales reports, and territory analyses to management.
