The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for making departmental decisions regarding maintenance, developing an understanding of equipment and manufacturing processes, and supervising mechanics and other skilled trades. The role also involves troubleshooting mechanical processes, installing and starting-up new equipment, and monitoring energy use.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field
- Innovative, good technical and mechanical knowledge, excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
