Job Description
The Production Supervisor leads a multi-department team of CNC Operators and Set-Up Operators in a high mix / low volume aerospace component manufacturing environment. The role requires expertise in machining, strong interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities to motivate the team to work toward common goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Develop and author standard work for the operation of production equipment
- Coach and train teammates in best practices
- Motivate team to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals and objectives
- Coordinate time-off requests and ensure adequate staffing level
- Routinely measure, monitor, and publish the performance of all individuals on the team
- Host daily GEMBA walk and serve as the primary conduit for all communications between operator and cross functional teams
- Partner with production control to stage daily and weekly priorities
- Maintain ERP data integrity and report any discrepancies
