Job Description
Horwitz is seeking a Project Accountant to support the financial and administrative backbone of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, labor and materials tracking, contract compliance, light WIP analysis, and change order documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in project accounting, billing, or construction finance.
- Strong knowledge of AIA billing, job costing, and compliance tracking in a construction setting.
- Familiarity with construction contracts and change order processes.
- Experience with ERP or construction accounting software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
