Job Description
Hostaway is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Communications team, responsible for the Unified Inbox module that streamlines Guest <> Host communication. The role involves designing, building, supporting, and evolving robust, scalable, and secure backend systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in SaaS software development
- Strong-level proficiency in PHP and/or Golang
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful web APIs
- Familiarity with transitioning event-driven service-oriented architectures by applying Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles
- Experience in writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests
- Proficiency in monitoring and supporting production software
- Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS is a plus)
- Experience with message queues (e.g., AWS SQS) is a plus
- English language level C1
