Job Description
The Senior Scholarship Coordinator assists the Associate Director with managing the day-to-day operations for financial aid related to scholarships. The position assists in training personnel in federal and institutional financial aid practices, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least five years of experience in financial aid (or a related area)
- Knowledge of financial aid programs and regulations
- Knowledge of scholarship administration (e.g., merit, need-based, leveraging)
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills as well as computer proficiency
- Ability to travel and work evenings and other times as deemed necessary for overall operations of the Financial Aid office
