Level III Trainee - Penetrant Testing

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Level III Trainee to assist in audits, technique creation, and other technical functions in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) method. The trainee will work under the guidance of a primary Level III and will split their time between assisting the Level III and performing production duties. The position requires a strong commitment to environmental health and safety, as well as frequent interaction with engineering, manufacturing, customers, and external auditors.

Requirements

• Participate and assist in internal, external, and customer audits
• Assist in training and monitoring proficiency of the Level I and Level II NDT inspectors
• Ensure NDT processes for product criteria are met
• Perform daily systems checks of responsible department
• Maintain required documentation and records for specific method as required
