Machining Tech II - 2nd Shift

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Machine Tech II - 2nd Shift for our Fullerton, CA location. The incumbent will operate and maintain standard and specialized production machines, including tappers, drillers, crimp and presses, to precision tolerances and maintain set-ups completed by others.

Requirements

• Operate and maintain standard and specialized production machines
• Perform minor adjustments and tool changes
• Load parts/material into bins, hoppers and feeders; remove finished parts; and operate switches, pedals, and levers
• Check multiple operations on a part, such as: O.D., I.D., overall height, thread gauging, perpendicularity gauge, etc.
• Read micrometers, indicators, plug gauges, and thread gauges; read work order routers and related blueprints
• Set-up and maintain S.P.C. charts; responsible for submitting “first article” to print
