Job Description
This Thermal Area Lead role focuses on training and motivating maintenance personnel and supervisors. Responsibilities include overseeing routine maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, establishing maintenance schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role contributes to both immediate operational needs and long-term improvements in equipment reliability and safety.
Requirements
- Training, coaching, and mentoring hourly craft personnel and maintenance supervisors.
- Supervising, training, coaching, and assisting Maintenance Supervisors.
- Directing safety awareness programs and safety analysis.
- Establishing maintenance priorities and proactively planning maintenance activities.
- Planning daily activities and providing technical direction.
- Procuring critical spares and coordinating contractor services.
- Driving root cause analysis to eliminate downtime.
- Managing labor issues and coordinating with HR.
- Performing administrative duties for workforce management.
