Hardware Design Engineer

We are looking for an Experienced Hardware Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of high‐performance networking hardware. This role focuses on hands‐on board‐level design, bring‐up, and validation, working closely with senior engineers and cross‐functional teams on products that ship at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• 5 ~ 10 years of experience in hardware design and development of complex electronic systems
• Strong hands‐on experience in high‐speed board‐level hardware design
• Solid understanding of: Signal integrity, Power distribution fundamental, Thermal considerations
• Proficiency using Cadence PCB design tools (Concept / OrCAD, Allegro)
• Experience with common interfaces and protocols, including: DDR, PCIe, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, SGMII, XAUI etc.
• Experience working with Ethernet switching and MDI designs, including: Gigabit, Multi‐Gig, and 10GBASE‐T
• Working knowledge of SerDes fundamentals, including: NRZ (10G, 25G), Exposure to PAM4 is a plus
• Familiarity with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technologies (PSE/PD, PoE+/++) is desirable
• Experience with storage and memory interfaces, such as DDR4/DDR5, EEPROM, NAND, eMMC, NVMe
• Exposure to CPU subsystems (ARM, Intel x86, AMD x86) and board‐level integration
• Basic understanding of bootloaders, BIOS, and Linux/OS environments
• Hands‐on experience with lab equipment such as: Real‐time and TDR oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, JTAG tools, Spectrum analyzers, BER tools, DCA etc.
• Ability to apply structured debug techniques and work through complex hardware issues
• Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
• Effective collaborator in cross‐functional and multi‐site teams
• Comfortable taking ownership of defined technical areas
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
