We are seeking a Content Specialist to join our team at Hamilton ETFs. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, a clear understanding of financial markets, and the ability to adapt messaging across formats. The role involves creating high-quality investment content and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with product positioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a strong understanding of Canadian financial markets;
- 3+ years of experience writing in financial services, asset management, ETFs, or investment communications for the ability to interpret and transcribe investment content accurately;
- Bilingual (native or near-native fluency) in both written and spoken English and French a strong asset;
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify complex investment concepts;
- Experience producing content for multiple formats including web, email, presentations, and investor/advisor-facing materials;
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel;
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a time-sensitive environment and adapt to frequently changing priorities;
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy (especially with numbers, product details, and investment terminology);
- Self-motivated and directed;
- A team-oriented mindset, with an interest and aptitude to add value outside of core responsibilities;
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality;
- Strong editorial judgment, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and audience relevance;
- Familiarity with social media or email marketing content in a regulated environment;
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) would be an asset.
