Job Description
The Medical Director is responsible for providing quality medical care at the Haight Ashbury Medical Clinic and the Integrated Care Center Clinic. The role involves leadership, medical direction, and clinical staff direction responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven, service leader with experience in managing and supporting staff, championing quality improvement, and leading change.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from accredited United States medical school
- Successful completion of Internship and Residency from accredited internship/residency program
- 1-3 years experience as a primary care provider
- Leadership Experience required
- Board Certified in family medicine or internal medicine
- Valid and active California medical license, without any limitations on license to practice in designated specialty
- Eligible to participate in the CMS Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement programs
- Valid and active DEA license with X waiver to prescribe buprenorphine
- Bilingual in Spanish (desired)
