Account Management Specialist

The Account Management Specialist develops a proactive relationship with assigned customer accounts, resolving issues and concerns, and providing innovative solutions. They manage order acceptance, order maintenance, and accessorial management, and communicate with shippers and consignees regarding exception notification and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or management
• Experience in the transportation industry
• Experience with EDI processes, Web Tender Portals, fax and other applicable forms of electronic communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Word
• Highly effective communication, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer focused
• Ability to work weekend rotation when scheduled
