Job Description
The Hardware Assembly Operator will set up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment to produce and/or prepare for shipment a good quality product. They will perform processes such as assembling, painting, boxing, and palletizing, and maintain machines, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
- Ability to walk, see and have full use of both hands.
- Ability to perform highly repetitive work with high weights and much vibration.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lb. cartons a distance of 3 feet and place on a pallet.
- Ability to push loaded skids using a force of 20 lbs. a distance of 6 feet, periodically.
