Job Description
A Machinist, Conventional will set up and operate machine tools, produce tooling components, and interpret CAD generated programs. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent experience.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology, or equivalent experience with a recommended 30 plus credit hours of trade school, or a journeymen status from an approved apprentice program
- Capable of operating conventional mills, grinders, and lathes
- Work to tolerance of+/.0005"
- Interpret and edit CAD generated programs
