The Maintenance Journeyman is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining critical manufacturing systems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, along with an associate’s degree or equivalent technical qualification.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting and repairing AC & DC motors and control circuits.
- Reading and interpreting electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing PLC and/or DCS hardware, software, and controls.
- Maintaining 480/240 Volt 3-phase MCC and power distribution systems.
- Replacing electrical control devices such as limit switches, proximity sensors, photo switches, and pneumatic/hydraulic valves.
- Moving and setting up equipment as needed.
- Wiring equipment and electrical drops in high-voltage areas.
- Installing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic industrial equipment.
