Central Laboratory Supervisor

HealthPartners is hiring a Central Laboratory Supervisor. The Central Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of laboratory staff and development and implementation of training & competency programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or Clinical Laboratory Science;
• NCA, ASCP or equivalent certification;
• Five years of recent experience working in a clinical laboratory setting;
• Thorough knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements (CLIA, COLA, CAP.OSHA, etc.),
• Proven skills and experience with Electronic Medical Record, Laboratory Information Systems and associated technology applications;
• Proven project management skills and knowledge;
• Proven computer knowledge and ability, including skills with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, etc.
• Proven Leadership skills such as partnership/collaboration, coaching/development, engagement, healthy communication, outcomes driven & critical thinking, integrity, and tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility to changing system needs.
