Job Description
We are currently hiring a Manager, Health Plan National Accounts to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across a portfolio of national clients. The Manager is responsible for cultivating, managing, and expanding relationships with large, strategic healthcare customers, providing leadership for national account strategy, talent development, and operational execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Five (5) years of experience in the health plan industry within national account management, enterprise sales, or healthcare business development
- Experience managing a successful account management team and meeting team goals
- Experience partnering with health care consultants
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of underwriting, product design and funding alternatives related to health and dental insurance
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office products or comparable applications
- Ability to manage multiple project assignments with short deadlines
- Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
- Minnesota and Wisconsin health and life insurance license (within 3 months of hire)
- Current, valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
