Job Description
Regions Hospital is hiring a Polysomnographic Technologist III. Coordinates and participates in the administration of comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions. Provides patient education and therapeutic services related to sleep disorders.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED, preferred
- Successful completion of polysomnography program, of no less than one year duration, associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility
- A minimum of six (6) months experience as a Polysomnographic Technician III with documented proficiency in all required competencies
- RPSGT certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification by the American Board of Sleep Medicine - required
- BCLS certified. Licensed as Respiratory Care Therapist (LRT) with State of Minnesota, Registered as an EEG technician by ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists) LRT/REEG only) - preferred
