Legal Counsel - Healthcare

Humana is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the Home Solutions line of business, including CenterWell Home Health. This role will provide legal guidance on operational and regulatory matters, with a focus on supporting day-to-day business activities and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing health care law within a law firm or in-house legal department of a health care organization.
• Proven experience advising health care providers on foundational health care legal matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex legal concepts and analyses clearly, concisely, and effectively to diverse audiences.
