Paralegal

The Paralegal 1 performs a variety of law-related tasks such as legal research, drafting legal documents, and filing documents with government entities. The role involves preparing corporate books and records, performing legal research, and drafting legal documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Professional, and Lexis/Nexis
• Proven organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in corporate law or law firm paralegal, preferably with experience in medical or Medicare/Medicaid insurance
• Compliance, insurance, corporate governance, and/or auditing background
