Job Description
The CNC Machine Operator 1 will perform entry-level CNC machining processes with assistance, reading blueprints accurately, setting up machinery, and inspecting products per print.
Requirements
- Confirm job order procedures and instructions
- Set up and operate CNC Machines and/or production equipment
- Read blueprints accurately
- Operate hand tools as necessary
- Use precision measuring instruments
- Identify and stamp parts for traceability
- Inspect products per print
- Keep machine clean and perform minor maintenance
- Report malfunctions to appropriate personnel
- Purchasing required tools
- Complete tasks under close supervision
- Read and interpret documents
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Perform other duties as assigned
