CNC Operator 2nd Shift

Join Martin Sprocket & Gear's team as a CNC Operator 2nd Shift and bring your CNC Machining skills to produce quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings. You will work on setting up and running full production cycles on CNC Lathe, Mill, and VTL machines, optimizing performance, and collaborating with teams to resolve issues and align on production needs.

Requirements

• CNC Operation: Set up and run full production cycles on CNC Lathe, Mill, and VTL machines
• Optimize Performance: Reduce setup times, maintain offsets, and maximize machine utilization for improved productivity
• Interpret Blueprints: Read and understand technical drawings, Bill of materials and routing instructions
• Troubleshoot Programs: Diagnose and adjust CNC programs as needed
• Inspect Parts: Perform in-process inspections and report any non-conformance issues promptly
• Collaborate: Communicate with supervisors, managers, production control, and quality teams to resolve issues and align on production needs
• Ensure Safety: Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE throughout your shift
• Document Work: Record shift activities and issues for smooth handoffs
• Maintain Equipment: Conduct daily preventive maintenance checks and log findings
