Registered Nurse - FT Nights - 12 HR - Emergency Services

Registered Nurse - FT Nights - 12 HR - Emergency Services at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. Responsible for coordination of care to meet identified needs of the patient/family.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered if enrolled in a BSN program with degree completion within 2 years of date of hire
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in acute care area of expertise/equivalent service area
• Experience with electronic documentation/EHR systems
• Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 30 days of hire/transfer
• Must challenge and successfully pass the Basic Dysrhythmia course curriculum within 21 days of hire
• Current Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or an approved two-day Emergency Department Approved Pediatrics (EDAP) course issued by Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses Course (ATCN or TCAR) issued by Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Basic computer skills
