Operator Technician

The Operations Technician will be responsible for the efficient operation of the facility, gaining knowledge of the production process and applying it to achieve efficient production. The role involves housekeeping, following instructions, and performing duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist other employees in the accomplishment of Huntsman company goals.
• Participate in and complete company-required training programs.
• Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
• Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations with those encountered during the course of employment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and teamwork are critical for job success.
• Requires personal initiative.
• Computer skills – requires the use of both office and process control computers.
• Direct plant experience in a chemical or paper manufacturing environment.
