Job Description
Assistant Manager of Store Operations will supervise and coordinate the activities of employees, ensuring customer's needs are met, and maintain a positive attitude to create a friendly atmosphere. The role is responsible for customer service, employee relations, and departmental profitability, as well as overseeing proper training, employee issues, and disciplinary procedures. The Assistant Manager will also assist management in determining pricing and blends, determine display locations, and ensure compliance with store accounting procedures.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent experience
- One year or more of retail experience
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Possess the ability to interview to obtain basic information and guide people to provide basic direction
