Assistant Manager of Store Operations

The Assistant Manager of Store Operations is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of employees, ensuring customer needs are met, and maintaining a positive attitude. They create a friendly atmosphere, provide prompt and courteous service, and are responsible for perpetuating the fundamental values of the Hy-Vee culture.

Requirements

• Ability to solve practical problems
• Arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Interviewing to obtain basic information
• Guide people to provide basic direction
• Follow technical manuals
• Increased contact with people
• High School or equivalent experience
• One year or more of retail experience
• Ability to physically perform medium work
• Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet
• Depth perception
