The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing all pastry and bakery products in accordance with Pastry Shop standards, supporting higher-level bakers and pastry chefs with precision, attention to detail, and efficient work in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Requirements

• Prepare pastries, desserts, baked goods, and specialty items as trained and directed.
• Follow standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pastry Shop, equipment, and storage areas.
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent quality.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on presentation.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
