The Chef de Cuisine will manage all aspects of the culinary team at Valle restaurant, a one-star Michelin restaurant, and assist the Executive Chef in creating and implementing menu and managing culinary staff. Previous Michelin star restaurant experience is required.
Requirements
- Develop and assume key management responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
- Develop and implement creative menu items within the restaurant concept
- Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring
- Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
- Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis
- Assist with payroll duties
- Participate in marketing events directly related to their specific restaurant
