Director of Sales & Marketing - Park Hyatt Kyoto

Park Hyatt Kyoto is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the Sales & Marketing department and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Business Administration or Hospitality/Tourism management, a minimum of 2 years of progressive work experience in similar roles, and fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese.

Requirements

• Direct oversight of the Sales and Marketing operation of the hotel
• Revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, developing and writing business plans, and ownership meetings
• Training and monitoring of the group and transient contractual agreement process, quoting rates, sending referrals, setting traces, and the management of retention, reactivation, and acquisition accounts
• Positioning the hotel in the local marketplace through sales and marketing initiatives
• Developing, implementing, maximizing, monitoring, and evaluating the hotel's Sales Strategy (goals, tactics, and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures
