Job Description
This is a Network Management Officer role at Hydro One, responsible for conducting operations research, technical impact assessments, and other specialized studies to determine transmission/distribution customer/system needs. The role involves analyzing problems, developing strategies, and facilitating delivery of solutions through suppliers and service providers.
Requirements
- Conduct operations research, technical/economic/environmental/business/regulatory impact assessments
- Analyze problems, develop strategies, and facilitate delivery of solution through suppliers and service providers
- Participate in the development of and prepare programs, processes, technical/operational/business standards, procedures or methods related to the management of transmission/distribution assets
- Monitor, control and redirect major programs and complex projects during the execution phase
- Represent the unit on discussion and negotiation with customers, stakeholders, regulatory authorities and suppliers
