Job Description
As the electricity distributor to the Nation's Capital, Hydro Ottawa is looking for an Accounts Receivable Associate to ensure the accuracy and timely processing of billings and damage to plant. The role involves maintaining security arrangements, detecting and resolving billing anomalies, and managing collection activities.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a related field, preferably in business administration with a concentration in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working in accounts receivable or billing, or equivalent accounting experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' previous accounts receivable/billing or general accounting experience.
- Experience in a regulated utility environment with knowledge of the OEB/IESO handbooks, guidelines and regulations is an asset.
