Job Description
IMP Aerospace & Defence is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M1/M2 or Military equivalent) to perform first and second-line aircraft maintenance on Cormorant helicopters supporting Canadian SAR operations. This role involves servicing, repair, and installation of aircraft mechanical, structural, and electrical systems, as well as ground support equipment. The position reports to a Main Operating Base in Greenwood, NS.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized aircraft maintenance course or apprenticeship program
- Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License or Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems
- Knowledge of use of special tools and equipment
- Knowledge of corrosion control techniques
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Secret Level II Security Clearance
