IMP Aerospace & Defence is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M1/M2 or Military equivalent) for the Canadian Department of Defence (CDR). The engineer will perform first and second line aircraft maintenance on Cormorant helicopters, servicing, inspecting, repairing, installing and modifying aircraft mechanical, structural, and electrical systems. The role involves support for Canadian Search and Rescue operations.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized aircraft maintenance course or apprenticeship program.
- Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License or qualification as an aircraft aviation technician.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems (power plants, flight controls, etc.)
- Knowledge of corrosion control techniques
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Secret Level II Security Clearance
