Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic will work under minimum supervision, with a high degree of proficiency, to maintain and operate company vehicles, mobile cranes, and forklifts. They will diagnose and rectify faults on vehicles and equipment, and perform periodic inspections and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical experience with industrial machinery and industrial vehicles
- Provincial Journeyman Mechanic License (asset)
- Familiarity with welders, acetylene equipment, vehicle maintenance equipment, diagnostic testing equipment, lifting and towing equipment, vehicle slings, and personal protective equipment
- Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Canadian government security clearances
