Systems Engineer

i3 is seeking a Systems Engineer for development, integration, operational/technical support, and sustainment for the Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (TUAS) Product Office (PO). The ideal candidate would provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience.
• Two (2) years or more experience in Aviation products.
• Ability to analyze systems’ compliance with MOSA principles.
• Experience viewing SySML models w/in Cameo software tools.
• Ability to derive user requirements and communicate those to prime contractors.
• Strong attention-to-detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate successfully as part of a diverse team in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, outstanding initiative, aggressive problem-solving and task management skills as well as excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Ability to encourage, inspire and participate in teamwork.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
• Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
