Site Manager (Electrical) role with ScottishPower, responsible for managing construction outputs during the delivery phase of SP Energy Networks' Core Projects. The role involves leading onsite management and delivery of Core Projects, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental legislation, and providing technical expertise and management of work packages.
Requirements
- Experience in managing transmission construction projects
- Experience as a Site Manager with experience of carrying out duties associated with the Principal Contractor role, managing multiple contractors
- Ability to understand electrical design drawings, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and all inspection and testing
- Primary knowledge of specifications, designs, maintenance, construction and commissioning of electrical works within a substation environment
- Awareness of NEC conditions of contract
- Proficient with IT and software packages such as Microsoft office
- Prior experience of working in a live Substation environment working under electrical safety rules
- Holds SMSTS, or equivalent safety training
- Full First Aid certification
- Clean Driving Licence
