Job Description
The ICAO Roster-Aircraft Airworthiness/Certification Engineer will evaluate structure repair and modification proposals, coordinate with airworthiness inspectors, conduct special investigations, and monitor engineering work. The position requires a strong understanding of airworthiness standards and regulations, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- University degree in aerospace/aeronautical engineering or in engineering mechanics with major in aircraft structure
- Minimum of ten years diversified experience in modification, repair, overhaul and maintenance activities of wide and narrow body aircraft
- Conversant with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) or Joint Aviation Regulations (JARs)
- Good command of oral and written English
- Working knowledge of French or another official language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish)
