Job Description
The job requires a part-time ICAO Roster-Airport Master Plan Expert to provide an updated airport master plan that addresses the need to optimize the existing airport site and maximize capacity. The expert will lead the preparation of the master plan update, execute the work plan, and maintain contact with stakeholders. The position requires a university degree in aeronautical engineering with specialty in airport master planning/engineering, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in airport master planning and engineering, aerodrome management, operations and maintenance.
Requirements
- University degree in aeronautical engineering with specialty in airport master planning/engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport master planning and engineering, aerodrome management, operations and maintenance
- Thorough knowledge of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) specified in ICAO Annex 14 and the guidance material contained in ICAO Airport Planning Manuals, Aerodrome Design Manuals, Airport Services Manuals, Manual of Surface Movement Guidance and Control Systems, Manual on Certification of Aerodromes, and adequate familiarity with SARPs specified in Annexes 10, 11, 16 and 17 and the guidance material contained in ICAO PANS-OPS Manual
