The Field Operations Section (FOS) is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and closure of Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects.
Job Description
The Field Operations Section (FOS) is seeking a National Aviation Security (AVSEC) Expert to assess and correct aviation security arrangements in a country. The expert will advise on planning and assignment of responsibilities, establish Aviation Security Units, and develop a Security Plan.
Requirements
- First level University degree in security management or relevant field
- At least six years of experience in an airline, airport, government or civil aviation organization
- Supervisory and instructional experience in air and ground security matters
- Working knowledge of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs)
- Experience of working in the environment of a developing country is desirable
