The Technical Release Manager is accountable for the coordination and execution of software releases across the delivery lifecycle. The role ensures releases are prepared, communicated, and executed in a predictable and controlled manner, using established release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in one of the following roles: Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, Software Developer, or Technical Project Manager
- Direct experience executing releases in a CI/CD-driven environment
- Hands-on experience running, monitoring, and troubleshooting releases using GitHub Actions
- Ability to interpret pipeline stages, logs, failures, and test signals
- Experience triggering, re-running, rolling back, and validating pipeline executions
- Working knowledge of Python or scripting to support release execution and operational automation
- Release Execution & Coordination: Experience running release syncs, tracking readiness, and managing cross-team dependencies
- Ownership of release communications and internal release notes
- Comfortable making and coordinating go / no-go decisions within defined criteria
