The Senior Energy Engineer is responsible for leading complex technical projects and contributing to the strategic development and execution of Engineered Solution (ES) programs. This role requires advanced engineering expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and demonstrated experience in project management and client engagement.
Requirements
- Lead the analysis and resolution of complex engineering challenges using advanced technical judgment and data-driven methodologies.
- Conduct large-scale data analysis, measurement and verification (M&V) planning and execution, and whole-building energy modeling using industry-standard tools such as EnergyPro, eQuest, and EnergyPlus.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders at both regional and national levels, contributing to technical working groups and presenting findings in professional settings.
- Manage technical aspects of project planning and execution, including scope definition, budget development, and timeline tracking.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in coordination with clients and internal business development teams.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and interns, fostering professional growth and knowledge transfer.
- Analysis of utility bills, estimation of energy efficiency savings and costs, perform benefit-cost analysis, and manage the QA/QC process on complex analysis performed by others to ensure deliverables are high quality and error free.
