IDEA Special Education RISE Teachers ensure students with learning, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities reach their full potential. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- Experience in a Special Education classroom with students who have significant disabilities
- Valid Texas state certification in Special Education
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and adjust to a multitude of situations
