Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the R&D team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will have an electrical engineering education with knowledge and experience on both hardware and software platforms, as well as experience developing software applications, especially in LabVIEW. You will work with a cross-functional team to design, develop, test and integrate hardware and software for various applications.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering
• Experience with LabVIEW, Test Stand and other NI technologies
• Experience with embedded systems development in C – embedded Linux and bare metal MCU firmware
• Knowledge and experience with electrical instrumentation and controls design
• Experience working and/or leading efforts that require hardware and software requirements definition and analysis, architecture definition, design, implementation and test
• Self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and with a team
