Master Gunner Instructor TAFT

The TAFT Lead Instructor and Supervisor serves as the primary in-country point of contact, overseeing all aspects of the M1A2T training program. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, designing and developing examinations, and ensuring course goals and objectives are met.

Requirements

• 10 years of program management and supervisory experience in an operational armor unit
• Knowledgeable at the NCO-level on Master Gunnery Training, management, maintenance, and the employment of the M240 and M1A2
• Responsible for the instruction of specific lesson of the M1A2T Program
• Responsible for the design, development, administration, and grading of all written and practical M1A2T examinations
• Responsible for assuring that M1A2T course goals and objectives are met IAW the PWS
• Provides instructors and students with counsel, mentoring, and assessment of their academic performance as required
