Job Description
The Quantity Surveyor (QS) for the IES Group will support the commercial management and financial control of multi-utility projects across gas, water, power, and telecoms. This role ensures effective cost management, contract administration, and commercial governance to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
- A Minimum of 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the utilities sector (gas, water, power, telecoms) or similar infrastructure environment or a Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying with at least a years experience.
- Knowledge of contract law, commercial management, and cost control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Good negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar).
